Over 20 Countries Express Interest in Co-WIN Platform, Health Ministry to Take Its Success Story Global

The Co-WIN platform is used in the country to manage the world’s largest vaccination drive against Covid-19. Many countries have asked about replicating this model of vaccination.

After over 20 countries asked about Co-WIN, a platform used to manage the vaccination drive against Covid-19 in the country, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has taken the success story globally.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare is hosting a Co-WIN Global Conclave on June 30 in partnership with the Ministry of External Affairs and the National Health Authority to share the success model with the rest of the globe.

The Co-WIN platform has emerged as the most potent tool in managing the world’s largest vaccination drive against Covid-19. India “developed Co-WIN as the central IT system for strategizing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluation of Covid-19 vaccination.”

People use the platform to see what vaccines will be available and where. An easy-to-use platform, it gives the ministry real-time data about the vaccination program going on in the country.

Countries like UAE, Iraq, Mexico, Vietnam, etc have asked about the platform. In a release, NHA said, “India is excited to join hands with the world to win over Covid-19 together with Co-WIN.”
